How did you score Mayweather-Castillo 1?

mayweather fights are far too boring to re-watch, but castillo beat his ass

 

Castillo 116-111 He made Floyd try to FIGHT!! Floyd couldn't . Maidana did same thing Floyd in tears at the end of that oneMaidana roughed me up & beat me up & the ref did nothing to stop him. It wasn't fair " ROFL Leonard caressed & consoled poor wittle Floyd

 

It took to long for Castillo to adapt himself to Mayweather's speed. By the time Castillo adapted to Mayweather's speed he was allready down 5 rounds to none.
Mayweather at least on my card was able to win 2 of the final 7 rounds as my scorecard read 115-113 Mayweather.

Though Castillo clearly got the better of Mayweather in the latter half, I'll say this about Mayweather, this Castillo fight was one of the few where Mayweather got beat up but to his credit in some of those late rounds, Mayweather dug deep and fought.

 

I think Castillo edged it. The right hand shot he landed at the end of the 7th round is when I figured out that Floyd was blessed with an iron chin.
At about the 10 second mark, Castillo landed a perfect wicked shot right on the button and Floyd had to hold on but 10 seconds later he was fully recovered and smiling at him.

With Floyd being up 5 to 0 its very hard to come back from that. All you need is 2 judges to give him 2 rounds out of the last 7. Atleast he gave him a rematch.

I remember having it 7-5 Castillo but I can see it being 7-5 Mayweather, it was a close competitive fight. People like to keep bringing up the Castillo fight as a way to disparage Mayweather but the fact remains that Mayweather beat him officially and he erased any doubt by beating him more convincingly in the rematch.

You Mayweather groupies are hilarious you think the sun shines outta his rear end. I must admit though I don't have Emmanuelle Steward's like drenlou does ROFLMAO that was a classic Anyway I was not ringside for many fights I was on the apron with the in crowd. Loved every minute too
