Tyson based on the sheer destruction of an ATG.

Naz didn't take MAB seriously which has been well documented. Him coming in as a 3.5 - 1 favourite is beyond me considering how great MAB looked in his warm up fight.

Mike Tyson's win over Michael Spinks quite easily. Barrera's win over Hamed was more satisfying though if you like seeing the cocky fighter get humbled.

So Spinks' Lineal has value but Hamed's doesn't?

Tyson didn't lose a round against Spinks as well. In fact the round didn't even finish by the time the fight was over.

Barrera's win was more impressive because Tyson was favored to destroy blown-up light heavy, knees shot, older, inactive, never beat a prime heavy Spinks. The outcome was no big surprise. Whereas Naseem was favored to beat Barrera and instead ended up getting a boxing lesson over twelve rounds. Now, THAT was a surprise.

Spinks was coming off 2 wins over Larry Holmes prior, and was also already an established ATG who was unbeaten by the time he faced Tyson. How is Tyson's 1st round destruction of Spinks not impressive?

Good win from Barrera but Hamed is nowhere near as great as Spinks.

The performance obviously was more destructive but Hamed was a better scalp than a fading blown up Spinks at HW. He barely outboxed old man Larry and never really established himself in that division.

But Spinks still beat Larry Holmes twice nonetheless, who would go on to still have a good longevity. Hamed had not beaten anyone that was close to a fighter like Holmes. Not taking anything away from Barrera because it really was a great performance and a career high win for him but I just don't think beating Hamed is anywhere as great as Tyson beating Spinks at 21 years of age.
