1000 tickets at £40 = £40,000. You said he got paid for 1000 tickets but you also said he didn't get any payment. Sorry if I'm not following this. Has the promoter been publicly linked to a cartel?

So he gave the promoter the money for 3000 tickets (at £30 each that would be £90,000) and didn't receive "any payment"? What did his manager and trainer get paid? Did he have a contract for the fight? Did he contact the BBofC?

Faults on both sides but the point still stands if he doesn’t have a fight left on his contract he simply could have taken the boxxer deal. Truth is he has a fight left. Same reason boxxer wouldn’t touch him. Matchroom effectively said you owe us a fight you’re being a prat on Twitter give us the money back we’ve lost on building you and you can go. Or you fight the contracted fight. he makes valid points but his head was turned by massive multi million pound deal. When he wasn’t in a position to seek that deal. Could have fought in Saudi and been clear to take the deal. But Lawrence knows best
