Out of the 2 who would you say did the most in their careers and has the best overall resume? Both are HOF fighters known for their supreme physical talents, flashy style, outspoken personalities, antics in the ring, and being involved in some memorable fights. They also fought and lost to ATG fighter Marco Antonio Barrera.

Johnny Tapia was number 10 on my list of 35 favorite fighters I did for Rumsfeld's poll and I couldn't stand Naseem Hamed both for his arrogance and for introducing the modern day overblown freakin' ring walk. That being said, I think Hamed was greater. Overall, he beat a better caliber of fighter and he beat them in a more devastating manner.

They were both fantastic and they produced entertaining fights but I have to go with the Prince.

hard to deny Naz, C that he is, I know who I prefer and would favour all day long...

Guys like Naz, skilled & in shape though they are, I think they are more of a side show, who's tricks soon run out.

I would live happily, IF, even in just 1 out of 3 meets, 'Fighters' like Tapia, knock the **** out of guys like Naz, whom in truth deserve the beating.

    Johnny.

Hamed for me...it could have been different if Tapia didnt miss almost four years of his prime though.

I agree with you about Hamed. Better overall than Tapia and I also thought Hamed was a knob.

Knob, not part of my vocabulary but it is a perfect word to describe Hamed!
