I like this argument and hope the rematch is less one sided. That said Bivol is really a horrible stylistic matchup for Canelo. His strong points (light footwork, stamina, workrate) dovetail into Canelo's weaknesses (slower feet, bad stamina, low workrate). Bivol's handspeed and defence likewise blunt Canelo's best weapons, his own handspeed and explosiveness. I'm looking forward to see what canelo can come up with. I've got a lot to bash Canelo about but his dedication in camp and smart team are both top notch.

Bivol has Canelos number. If he wants he can even deck him the next time.

Wait, so all these cheerleaders claim he fights the best and is so active ...
    How gullible are you?
He's just declared that he's going to use one of the two key dates he fights on for a tune-up. Why? He just won. If you're only fighting twice a year, why waste half the year on a tune-up? At least put your tune-up in between your key dates.
Unless it's just a shameless money grab.

Eddie Hearn will make sure Bivol doesn't get the Beterbiev fight any time soon.
I can't stand that bellend at the moment

Canelo sweeping the first 4 rounds on the cards is a whole other thing - what a disgrace!

I think Bivol and Beterbiev BOTH want it, and undisputed - just the promoters are not making it happen :(

Having 2 opposing promoters will do that.

No shame is taking that “L” once so no need to go back into that fire zone.

Great. Maybe now Canelo will look at Benavidez like Yildirim. Now exactly what was Yildirims something noteworthy?

Canelo is the unified super middle weight champion who instead of taking on the number one ranked super middleweight, is fighting a garbage tune up in order to fight outside his weight class once again. A four belt champion who doesn't fight the best in his division instead has GGG moved up to 168.

His last fight against a real super middle weight was 2021 and with this going forward he most likely doesn't fight at super middle in all of 2023.

A four belt champion of a weight class he doesn't even fight in for two years.

Imagine if Usyk beat Joshua and didn't defend his titles at Heavyweight, instead dropping back down to Cruiser for two years and got keep his heavyweight belts.

Bivol is better and def should be a favorite, but many of you here overrate him since his win over canelo. Canelo with better game plan and more corrupt judges can def get decision win over Bivol.
