    Who wins and why..... I put jr jr jr up in title to disparage mayweather who I can't stand but it is an intriguing matchup.

    three fights.........One....... one in Grebs time and same conditions... 20 round fight, Grebs choice of gloves............. two...... in Floyd's time... 12 rounds with the type of ****py referees Floyd likes to keep separating the fighters....... and three......... in between their eras, this time it is 1960 with the conditions of that era... 15 rounds.... go on.... be imaginative.

    The way I see this is like as follows...... Harry signs to fight and then sits in press conference, before this moment Harry has no idea who this guy is and didn't really care too much either way as he is confident he would beat any welterweight ever but then Harry hears this chump boast how he is so great, so big a favourite and says that this Harry greb guy is a bum who he will destroy easily, asked if he thinks the middleweight slash LHW is simply too big Floyd laughs and says "I am the greatest fighter past... present and future to ever live".

    Harry is now mad as hell and grabs the mic off Floyd and glares at this blow hard and says "For those comments I am going to kill you dead little boy".

    Harry now trains like a lunatic and come fight day he rips Floyds head off and eats it........... making Floyd dead and therefore there is no second or third fight. Asked why he was so savage with Mayweather Harry replies, "Nobody ever speaks about me like that and gets away with it so he got what he asked for."

    Personally I fancy a 168 guy with insane handspeed and workrate against a potshotting blown up 154 fighter.

    Greb via UD, Mayweather's style doesn't do well vs speedy & skilled pressure fighters. Besides he is smaller by taking this " fantasy fight " is well, fantasy.

    I would pick Greb against any other MW.
    He whooped Tunney and beat Dempsey in sparring.
    Even Jack Johnson was amazed when they sparred.
    He would beat Mayweather because Mayweather style does not work against swarmers with good defense and dirty tactics plus he won't handle that handspeed.

    Honestly I agree. We have footage of Mayweathers whole career to assess him as well as his habits n mistakes. I think ppl take for granted how beneficial seeing those are. Can't say the same for a Greb and even then most times not every rd will b available. Why I hate H2Hs w ol timers especially those w no footage.

    Greb will probably be a bit bigger, but the welter version of Mayweather is a million times more skilled, he wins every single time.

    What handspeed ?!?
    We have no proof of how fast Greb was or wasn't.
    And Mayweather faced opponents that were very fast and way way way more skilled

    I have Klompton's book and it's a very interesting read.

    That still doesn't equate to us being able to see for ourselves. Did he really beat up Dempsey in sparring? Anyone who did see that are most likely dead and gone, even if it did happen.
