Fury was born this way and he will die this way.

He isn't getting medicated not at least whilst he is still boxing.

There is that potential that he quit the sport and get medicated effectively which allows him to find a normal baseline which he can learn to live with retired....but I can't foresee that. He's more likely to continue fighting and living as he always has.

His madness is what makes him great. Could he have been greater without it? Maybe who knows.

Manages to find a way to work Dolly's Coat of Many Colors into his latest interview with Frampton. Reasons to love the guy just keep coming. :eusa_dance:

"...speaking from the heart, I do not know how to quit. I wear a T-shirt that says 'Don't Quit', so how can I go against my own words? I can't quit. I'm gonna be like Roberto Duran, fighting at fifty-nine-year-old. I don't know anything else..."

"Now I know why all the greats get hurt, because they'll never let it go..."

Usyk isn’t good enough, that’s why he is fighting 67yo Chisora.

Tyson says a lot of things. He’s a diva and is not mentally stable. His team has to understand he can’t duck the other best HW forever. He needs to stop screwing around and get down to business.

He hasn't been ducked him at all. Fury was ready to face Usyk in December, which is far from an unprecedented turnover — for instance, Oscar De La Hoya went from Oba Carr on May 22 of 1999 to a unification with Félix Trinidad on September 18 of the same year, a turnover of 119 days, the exact number of days between August 20 and the proposed December 17 date for Fury-Usyk. Usyk wanted the extra time for R&R, which is fine, but the blame can't reasonably be laid at Fury's door for the bout not having materialized this year.

I get it but who knows if Fury was serious. He said he wanted to fight AJ in December and that fight disappeared. Fury says a lot of **** and you never know what is real. Usyk didn’t immediately agree on the exact date and wanted some time to be with his family for the holidays. If Fury that big of a diva that he would refuse to fight a guy forever because the guy didn’t immediately agree to his date? Give me a break. There is no bigger fight for either guy. Now he doesn’t want to fight Usyk because he’s a middleweight?

The two camps were in discussions, had been since before the Joshua rematch, and still are.

    Two days before Usyk ultimately discounted it at his September 2 news conference, Egis Klimas confirmed that staging the bout "maybe by the end of the year" (i.e. December 17) was a possibility under discussion (timestamped);

It's entirely unreasonable to blame Fury for Usyk turning down a date which both his team and Fury's team (Warren/Arum) had confirmed was under discussion. BF24 perception is not reality, in this case.

The subsequent disappearance of Fury-Joshua lays squarely at the door of Hearn/DAZN.

    Wait,
, there were prolonged discussions between the camps for December 17, the seriousness of which can apparently be doubted, but this offhand hunk of bait is what you want to put store in?

You're a thinking man, Giacobbe. Don't let yourself down by following the herd here.

Just commenting. I didn’t read the article or video it there was one. Bored posting at halftime of college football game. I think they will fight next year. These guys aren’t dummies. It’s fun to pretend I’m abrasive but I’m really a nice person deep down.

Those were fun days. Side note, I’m a deadly towel snapper. I worked in a restaurant and those industrial towels work so well. I could snap the tip off a lit cigarette without hitting the person or destroying the cigarette. Used to have friends put a straw in their mouth and I could snap off pieces of the straw without hurting them. That and throwing playing cards at people and objects are my two best useless talents. This is exactly like snapping towels in a locker room. Busted.

I can just see Tyson calling up unsolicited on the night of AJ 2:

"You just beat your own Oba Carr but I'm the lovechild of Felix Trinidad and the Staypuft Marshmallow Man you have 119 days to get in the ring you dosser!"

    And then just hang up.

I have zero issue with him fighting, he as i have commented many times previously in my opinion is the best heavyweight at present.

It is others who are throwing bipolar disorder, which is a bloody serious mental health condition into it, to explain his out of the ring behaviours.
If anyone has or indeed had a mental health issue, that does not mean every time they get angry, argumentative, cry, get into pub fight, act anti socially, get drunk, talk nonsense etc etc, that it is part of their present or past mental health issue, millions upon millions with zero mental health conditions do those things, the same goes for Fury.

I reiterate IF Fury is truly as unwell due to his bipolar disorder as others are claiming, then boxing authorities allowing a acutely unwell Fury to box are failing in their responsibilities.
