It was almost 100lbs along with height. With Hardy having better fluidity, chin, and gas tank than expected. Kinda odd.

While I think Rahman could have won with the proper game plan, it's a different beast when you have a motivated and mean bigger fighter with 90lbs on you who is just walking through your punches in a small ring.

Do I think Rahman should have been able to win, yes... but I take back a lot of my earlier criticisms.

He could use a new trainer instead of Dad if he wants to continue.

Just wondering is this recent spate of fights not happening a new thing or has it always been that way?Don`t mean the occasional fight but numerous ones

I could be wrong of course but seems like the worst it's been since I've been into the sport.

First off, you got the record of the man you worship to a disturbing degree wrong, shortchanging him

Mostly you were more fun when you did not turn nasty.
Why shave a good 100 lbs. off of Usyk's lean weight & use gay slang-oh right, homophobic hate.
Do you not care that maligning him makes you look quite insecure, & along with your other Fury-worshipping habits, have us wonder if you are dispacing your won attraction to him?

Watched my first fight on DAZN, Mungia what's his face vs some dude ranked 100 or something like that. Mungia is supposed to be a hot prospect at MW, according to the atrocious commentary team?

He needs A LOT of work.

So do those commentators. Man, what I would give to hear guys like Lampley, Tim Ryan, Gil Clancey, Dunphy again.....

Dunphy and Clancy a class apart from these new-age commentators. I'm excluding someone like Bernstein, who comes from older stock. These new guys have to talk constantly and the amount of hyperbole injected into the telecasts themselves is exhausting.

I'm not sure why DAZN would label Munguia a prospect. He has been ranked for quite a while now and even held a major trinket after beating Ali. He has beaten a few active top-10 guys too in Smith and Rosado. I think Golden Boy and others still see him as a work in progress, but I don't see much improvement from fight to fight.

They are awful, all of the current commentary teams. So much shilling and straight up trying to sell narratives in fights that aren't there, its like they are trying to present a prepared script and fit the fight they are watching in that box. Even worse, playing favorites to a nauseating degree.

Oops I shouldn't have said 'prospect', I meant they were hyping Mangia as a hot fighter in the division. TY for pointing that out!

Yeah, as much as I've respected the Showtime crew over the years (minus Gray), the addition of Ranallo has been grating. He almost epitomizes our complaints. He is well-spoken but yells far too often and exaggerates incessantly, hyping up every trinket under the sun, overstating the historical significance of things, and more. Mares is a dreadful analyst, despite being a former fighter. Ward and Bradley can be insightful at times, but are also prone to adopting the company's narrative, which Tessitore gladly pushes front and center. Mannix and Mora are okay. There are plenty of people who don't need to be involved in the telecasts, as well, just chewing up airtime for soundbites.

Most of these commentators need to let the action breath a little. I don't need everything interpreted for me.

    No problem. It happens.

I suppose Munguia is "hot" in the sense that he's a good sell for a top level opponent in a division that's gone cold recently, but he's certainly no elite talent.

Rahman Jr has the worst punch mechanics I've ever seen. How does he keep going without correction? Does he not notice that he's a huge strong guy who's been in a boxing gym his whole life and his punches do no damage while the fat slobs in the ring to settle their bar tab are doing damage?

Has he never punched a bag the right way by accident and heard the much louder sound?

I definitely think things are worse, but it feels even worse than it is because rumors break on social media earlier than ever and there aren't as many high level fights to cover the cancellations.

Mannix is the worst, I honestly wonder if the guy even likes boxing or knows more about it than the average fan. Seems like he is just in the family business.
