Am I hearing correctly that the Zerafa fight is now the main event and Gallen Hodges is chief support?

 

The Gorilla Solibum is still fighting he has a fight scheduled with Joel Camo.
I wonder if Solibum will be using the Berries kid for sparring? Maybe talk it over with the team.

 

I see that it is Brock Jarvis's birthday today hopefully somebody can buy him a chin

 

That will surely be one of the ugliest fights you could ever see. Though I really like Joel, seems like a top bloke.

 

Unfortunately his father in law Jeffrey can't help there.

 

Wow... thats a bit rough! Bugner was kod in his 1st ever fight, and do you have doubts on his chin? Anyone can get sparked.

21 fights, i recon hes proven his chins ok.

 

What's the plan with Brock Jarvis future? Throw him half a dozen cans before biting off more than he can chew again?

 

MOST people don't share midnitenegative's views on boxers who are prepared to have a go.

 

Jarvis was nearly KO'd by a journeyman with a sub 50% KO ratio, and got stopped brutally in the first round in his last fight. Quit denying reality fangirl.

Jarvis weathered the storm vs the Mex. Just because The Mex has 'a 50% ko ratio' vs other Mexicans no doubt, doesnt mean he cant punch. But no, the Mexican didnt look like a puncher... Jarvis could have took a knee, and probably should have. I see too much "trying to be like Jeff Fenech" in Jarvis. Hes making the same mistake soooo many have in trying to fight like Fenech did. ONLY Fenech could fight like Jeff..

As for the Paro 'incident', it was obvious from the start Jarvis doesn't like southpaws. That should have been obvious in sparring. Paro was ready to do what it took to win, including illegal stuff... im fine with that. Without going back, Jarvis looked to have been nailed 6 times CLEAN before he hit the canvas. 5 or 6 separate clean punches. Caught cold in the 1st round. Should NEVER have happened!!

The 1st punch he ran into he should have learned from, but he didn't, he walked in again...so he copped a second. STILL not learning his lesson he walked into a third, back again for a fourth, fifth and a finisher. Paro wouldn't have believed his luck! Jarvis just kept coming forward into blows!!

Bad chin? Id say no. Mex fight he was hit plenty and remained standing. Paro fight he took 5 good clean blows before he succumbed.

My analysis is that he has thrown his best style away to fight like Jeff Fenech. It has often been the case fighters Under Jeffs tutelage that his fighters take on his style. I dont know if its because they idolise him and watch all his old fights?

Jarvis is a natural boxer/puncher who should fight cautious and smart, setting up opponents, waiting for openings. Slow the fk down!

At present he is trying to be a brawler/puncher, walking his opponent down and inflicting as much damage as soon as possible, which of course comes at his own expense. If he continues in this fashion, he is going to be another 'could have been'.

I like to remind young Brock; "Boxing is the art, of hitting and not being hit". Mate, its Boxing, dont get hit. Its not a RACE, where you get there first. You train for 10 rounders, be prepared to do the rounds. ITS NOT A RACE! You could have finished that Mex in the same ammount of rounds without getting hit, but you raced in and made hard work of it!

The same with Paro; You RACED IN and tried to nail him! Even when he kept nailing you, you kept rushing in !!!!?? WTF??

Learn from your mistakes. Slow down and be prepared to do the rounds. You dont have to rush in to KO someone. It will come. Settle the fk down!
