What is the referee's responsibility during dirty tactics; any boxer? The referee should prevent this by warning, deducting point(s), and finally by disqualification.
Yea, that was a masterclass in spoiling, smothering, bullying tactics. It wasn't pretty but was effective and it is not a tickling contest but a man's fight. Do I like it? No, but ref didn't take points & Wilder should've learned from that for the next fight. Fury just more skilled inside & out. This content is protected
Very mean of Mr Fury to do that kind of thing to Mr Wilder. I'm very distraught about all this. Yours Marquess of Queensberry, jnr, the third...
I carn't believe you even wrote that hahaha, Do you believe the earth is flat, Tupac is alive and the Queen was actually a lizard. By the way i have a bridge to sell you.
I don`t think Wilder is a good boxer but he gassed because Fury kept putting him in a head lock and putting all his weight on him.
Fury is a very dirty fighter, no question. However, he is not the main problem. A dirty fighter can only fight dirty if the referee allows them to do so. If fighters see they can can get away with things, they would surely keep on doing them. Had the referee been stricter with Fury and duly deducted points for his tactics, Fury would have stopped fighting dirty. Simple. We have refs in the ring for a reason, it’s their responsibility to keep fights clean.
Fury knows he can't use this tactics against Usyk. Can't wait to see just how sloppy and slow he will look in that fight, if he finds his balls to not retire for 42 times after Chisora fight.
LOL brilliant! Yep true. Zivic sounds like a funny character. I am of the belief that if your opponent does something like hit you in the jewels, you let it slide. If he nails your 'nads twice, then give it back twice as hard! If I was Riddick Bowe in his fights with Golota, I'd have made sure Andrew couldn't have babies again.
This. Fury is a good mover for his size and when compared to flat-footed plodders like Wilder or Whyte. But it’s all about perceptions. Many casuals will get so confused about how clumsy and slow he will look in the ring next to Usyk (if he finally stops ducking and faces Usyk, that is).
