Good fight this weekend, has gone under the radar probably due to lack of publicity on DAZN. Personally don’t get the current market for this fight - strongly favouring Wardley. A lot depends on Gorman’s current shape (very little information available) but think it’s typical case of the unbeaten, untested, flashy looking fighter being overhyped. Not seen anything to suggest Wardley has what it takes - maybe wrong here - but looks very raw, hasn’t done any rounds, is hittable and still chin question marks, but can bang and looks the part on camera. Gorman is completely the opposite, with good fundamentals, solid amateur experience, but fallen short at the elite level once. But honestly think he will time and box the ears off Wardley!
Gorman is a very good value bet here, like ridiculously so…I need to see what he looks like first but how wardley is 1/4 is proper strange…not shown anything to think he could beat Gorman in my view
I think Gorman will win because Wardley leaves his hands by his waist and will get caught, as long as he turns up in shape.
Gorman will turn up completely out of shape as per usual and will gas after 3 rounds. Although, Wardley is very average with dubious wins over a succession of opponents who react suspiciously to his punches. I think Wardley has enough fitness wise to win this. Even though Gorman is the better boxer. Wardley stops Gorman or wins a convincing UD
The anomaly is Gorman’s conditioning and mentality. Definitely a live horse in this fight but I’m presuming his already been given and read the script
I’m going Gorman by ko, wardley gets caught a lot while trading and Gorman actually has a nice hook on him when trading in the pocket.
Who's the A Side fighter in this one? I'm presuming Wardley seeing as he's unbeaten and probably seen as more marketable. Tempted to put a tenner on Gorman and a couple of quid on a draw, either one would pay for beers when I watch Wales beat England on Tuesday!
If Gorman has got the bit between his teeth and has sorted himself a good coach out and has given his fitness and conditioning 100% then he'll beat Wardley but Hearn isn't that stupid. He'll have the s.p on Nathan, he'll know how much he's been putting it in. Wardley to win a fight that if Gorman give it everything he wouldn't win.
Gorman is something insane bro he can do all the critical fights so easily you can see like this he is completely in shape and expectedly he do something crazy.
Gorman had the bit between his teeth for the Dubois bout, coming in with “good conditioning” and more motivated than ever. He was hopeless. Forget about physicality, he looked like a novice technically.
