Round scoring 10:10; should they exist?

    That's it, if you can't decide who won the round,,,,no one did.

    I think you get a more accurate score if you give even rounds when necessary. Nobody should get a huge edge if the round is even.

    I think there should be MORE 10-10 rounds.

    If a round is too close to call why should it arbitrarily be awarded to one fighter? Such a 10-9 has the same worth as a decisive round where one fighter has clearly won.

    That's madness in my opinion.

    I know judges in theory would try to balance said rounds over a fight but that seems messy and totally unnecessary.

    It is less of a mistake to score a round 10:10 than to score a round that is close to 10:9 for a fighter who lost the round.

    I sometimes score rounds 10-10, so I am in favor of them.

    There can be close rounds that could go either way but that's part of the judges job they need to make a decision on who they believe won the round. The only time I can see it being even is if both fighters score a knockdown or one scores a knockdown and the other receives a point deduction for a foul.
