I scored it 115-113 for Franklin. Whyte received a gift decision. Franklin deserved to win, but in your opponent's back yard, you need to win very convincingly. That 116-112 score for Whyte is terrible judging.
I wasn’t scoring it but it was close to me. I had a feeling that Franklin done enough but wouldn’t get the nod.
Compared to some decisions we have witnessed it was not really a robbery. However if Whyte and his team, believe that the result legitimises the idea that Whyte is relevant fighting anything above mediocre opposition, then they are either not choosing to face reality or they are deluded. Franklins profile will be the one enhanced from the bout, Whytes however is being dismantled bit by bit. At best it was a draw, it sure as hell was not a 116 - 112 result, another dent put in boxings reputation.
Whyte does my head in. So sick of his fraudulent claims of greatness...he is and has always been average. Wish he'd take his half-dozen stupid nicknames and ring walk songs and eff off into retirement.
If that's fuming, I'd hate to see him subdued. I got like 50 times more worked up over a contestant I like on Survivor getting voted off last week.
'Fuming' is what my wife says when we've had a row and I'm checking if she's calmed down... 'No, I'm still fuming'
