He was talking ****, saying Vargas was a cheater and he was on steroids when they fought, he would have never beat him in his prime yada yada. just a bunch of bull**** man.

 

I don't agree that Chon can't get another shot if this one doesn't go his way. He always comes to fight. If he loses tonight, it'll probably be in a way that keeps his stock up.

 

Definitely looked sharp! I had to add him to my boxrec watchlist after this one.

Not quite the whole story of the fight. Conwell should be a clear winner, but the man from the DR had his say.


Moreover, Abreu's positive and spirited attitude made that fight highly entertaining. Conwell was stoic, for his part, got his hands dirty and did what the situation called for, while not entirely in his element.
