Because he's been a world champion, is technically better than Whyte and would spark Whyte out in spectacular fashion.

A world champion buy look at the quality of opposition he beat to become champion and as as champion. Next people will be saying Lucas Browne is better than Joyce because Browne was WC.

How is Wilder tehnically better than Whyte?

Whyte has the much better jab, left hook, physically stronger, better ring IQ and goes to body more effectively than Wilder.

Of course Wilder isn’t technically better than Whyte. Last night showed Whyte is far too easy to hit. Wilder would iron him out in 4.

Whyte is absolutely awful. Wilder would murder him.

Browne was never a champion just like Povetkin and Pulev weren't either

Well he won rounds against Fury for starters and actually put him down (multiple times). That's the best common opponent both Whyte and Wilder have fought.

Never regarded Browne as a world champ. Wilder beat what was in front of him. There is genuinely no ill will towards Whyte in my post, what I see is a terrible boxer with awful balance & wide open defence. It doesn't matter that he's got a decent jab and is good at landing at the body cos he can't stop getting chinned when he steps up.

It was quite an entertaining main event at Matchroom's show last night. Otherwise, there wasn't much to get excited about.

Franklin would likely be a very solid test for fringe world title candidates so at least we all learned something useful last night.

You've gotta feel for him. He beat Whyte in the eyes of many but because of boxing's corrupt politics, he's had a win taken away from the CV whereas Whyte can just carry on and get another big payday.

    Terrible analogy

So you consider Charr a former world champ?

I don't rate any double WBA regular as a real world champion. Then again I didn't rate Charles Martin as a real world champion despite having the IBF. I certainly don't value a PBC title holder who beat Jason Gavern to earn a title shot , beat Stiverne for it and then proceed to defend it against the likes of Arreola, Scott, Spzilka, Duhaupas, Washington, Stiverne again etc.

Parker had a world title for less defences but actually beat much quality of opponent's for the WBO and in defences.
