I'd like this about as a step-up for Jalolov in 2023. Thought Franklin performed fairly well, and unlike Whyte he doesn't have the marketability to turn down any decent payday.
Whyte is only marketable in Europe. No other country cares about him. Also to be marketable in Europe all you have to be is loud and try to be like Floyd Mayweather the little Europeans will eat it up. In any case Franklin didn't really perform well. He fought a faded Whyte who has been knocked out 3 times and was never good even in his prime and Fraklin still couldn't knock down or stop Whyte.
^ Whyte undoubtedly is faded but he's still a top 12-15 HW. And I'm not suggesting Franklin is great, only that he'd be a credible opponent for Jalolov who to this point has been feasting on journeymen. At least Franklin showed he could take a relatively big fight and not wet his pants.
There are some American hypejobs that get overrated, but they are usually dropped pretty quickly as well. In contrast, it takes very little for the UK to hype up their prospects and they tend to get the full red carpet treatment. Even retaining a ton of hype after losing or doing absolutely nothing with their career.
Dubois is undoubtedly the peak example of this. I see Britons rating him in the top 10 fairly frequently.
Yeah because only American boxing fans are biased right? European boxing fans are so non biased right? You cheer homophobic, sexist morons like Tyson Fury just because he is European.
Exactly, As long as they are European or boxers who live and box in Europe that is all it takes for these biased European boxing fans to worship them. These European boxing fans so so delusional that they will tell you that Deontay Wilder is a bum and then turn around and praise Tyson Fury for beating him. I never seen a American boxing fan call somebody a bum and then turn around and praise a American for beating them.
Tyson Fury is a cheater and way too dramatic, but at least he's funny. Who cares that he doesn't like women or homosexuals? It's his business, he's not hurting anybody.
Javolov by fairly easy KO..7-8th round . Franklin has shown durability, but that right hand halts him mid rounds.
There we have it the thing that is wrong with boxing losing hype just cos a loss no wonder fighters be scared of challenges it's a good thing us UK lot don't drop fighters over losses
You can say that about anybody right? Also why do you care what I think of Tyson Fury? My opinion isn't hurting you so why do you care? My opinion is my business.
