Stop with all that cap about him being a switch-hitter. He’s never been highly effective fighting as an orthodox. He switches to orthodox in spurts, but once he starts getting hit, that’s when he revert back to his natural comfortable stance to win fights.

Have y’all ever seen Crawford throw a straight right hand as orthodox?

Let’s be real, Crawfords best win is itty bitty Gamboa.

Hagler was as good a switch-hitter as they get. Shifting and changing stances mid-combinations or to open new angles. That's what so frightening about switch-hitting. The possibilities.

Crawford is good and so are some others, but I chuckle a little bit when they call the likes of Zach Parker a switch-hitter, because they play around in either stance at times. Same goes for Fury.

Technically they are, but the real essence of switch-hitting is the miasmic labyrinth of options created mid-round.

I'd give a second 'like' for 'miasmic labyrinth' if I could...

Might have gone a little bit overboard with this one.

    No. Not at all.

I'm stealing it for use at a later date...

Tyson also. I wouldn't call what fury etc do as switch hitting.

Good call. D'Amato shift could be lethal.

He's a switch hitter by definition, that shouldn't be in dispute. I definitely don't agree with how overboard some have gone talking about him being one of the greatest switch hitters ever, he's definitely not. He is a good one though, but yea he is primarily a southpaw. He can be effective as an orthodox and get some work done but not as effective as he is at southpaw.
