I think it is a good fight and if the card is good too, then definitely worth PPV

Personally I like to think they are getting paid well, and 20quid is not much for a night's entertainment of boxing

Good fight but never a PPV. They’ll need a really strong undercard but going off Boxxer’s last PPV undercard I don’t expect anything decent on there either.

Don't forget its a double PPV too, wasn't the only way this fight was made was if there was a rematch clause if Smith wins.

2 good fighters going at it. NOT Elite, NO world title, just two good fighters (both probably past peak) going at it.

No wonder boxing is on its arse in this country.

The more fights are put behind double paywalls, the more of a niche sport boxing will become. Remember Sky Sports is already an expensive option, that I suspect a lot of people will ditch in the current climate.

I've nothing against people earning a living, especially one where they're risking their lives and/or future health, but I'm not really supportive of (let's be honest here) basically fringe contenders being paid inflated purses off the back of yet another PPV.

Neither are world champions, both are on the downsides of their careers, it's only a fight that the British contingency will find remotely interesting, so how is it somehow worthy of PPV?

I do like both fighters, but I'm buggered if I'm going to pay double to watch them

My thoughts on it being PPV? A joke but not unexpected. Someone said Eubank Jr wouldn't fight on a non-ppv show but his last box office show was against Degale with ITV.

My thoughts on Eubank Jr? Showed promising signs early on in his career with his flashy skills and hand speed....but since the Groves loss his career has depleted significantly. Never fought for a world title and probably never will.

My thoughts on Smith? Although he's been a world champion I've never really seen him at world level in terms of who he fought to win it and then who he fought to defend the belt and it's fair to say (like Eubank) whenever he's stepped up to world level fighters he's come unstuck.

My thoughts on the fight? Don't get me wrong it's an interesting match up stylistically, I'd edge Eubank to win on points and for the loser it probably will be retirement.

I can understand boxers wanting to get the biggest purse available but Broadcaster/Promoters need to realise a domestic fight with little history between the respective fighters for some supposed title shouldn’t be PPV. It is a decent fight but I will pass on shelling out any additional fees.

The Kelly v Williamson fight tonight also the same but no Sky/BT sub needed never mind Box Office on top.

Measure it up against Fury vs Chisora and it’s a pay per view all day long. It’s one of the best domestic fights out there.
The one thing guaranteed is both of these men will put it on the line. I really like Liam Smith, he’s a throwback, hard as nails and loves a fight. He’s a proper value for money fighter.
Eubank will give it everything too. If your going to foot a pay per view bill, at least pay to see a proper 50/50 fight, like this one.

2 wrongs don’t make a right though mate. If Fury v Chisora is the measuring stick for PPV then most fights in boxing will be on there.

I agree, but that’s where we are, like it or not. The only positive from this one, is that both lads will give there all in a genuine 50/50 and it will be a good fight. Let’s hope it’s a really strong undercard as well.

    It’s a good fight I think.

Eubank will sell the fight as well.

Not PPV worthy, but I’m also not surprised.

Should be a fun one. Eubank a bit too good for him in my opinion and will have him nicely wound up come fight night.

Frazer Clarke vs Kingpin on the undercard, per rumours. Ridiculous. BBBoC should not sanction this.

Mad. How olds Clarke not young like, with his amateur experience and age could move him along quicker instead of these pointless fights
