Lol. I read that in Manchester they would even like to make him a statue. He doesn't need a statue but guts to face Usyk or Joyce.
Yeah, the guy likes to do easy fights like Rocky in the third movie, with the difference that in the movie it was Mickey that decided who Balboa had to face, in the reality instead it's the english clown who chooses the opponents (above all bums or burn out fighters). Besides something similar has happened to Cristiano Ronaldo who has a statue but not the guts to admit that Messi has always been better than him.
That's rich coming from a Fury fan. Tell me again, why should Usyk defend his titles twice in four months - which is something Fury has never done himself? The Fury faithful hypocrisy is really something else. If Fury fights once a year: "he is the GK, and he can do whatever he wants". If Usyk doesn't want to fight twice in four months: "unacceptable, what a sissy midget". If Fury insults or bullies others on their appearance or nationality: "relax, he is just a brilliant entertainer, trying to sell the fight". If someone says anything remotely critical about Fury: "bUt yOu cAn't dO ThAt, ThAt's dIsReSpEcTfUl aNd aBuSiVe tO HiS MeN'Al hElF!!" Incidentally, Usyk fought around 2-3 fights per year on average as a CW. He has a lot of miles in his legs - he fought close to a total of 400 fights including his amateur career. He is more than justified to have a breather now as an HW when it is quite a challenge for him just to keep his weight at around 220 lbs. All he requested was having 5 months off between fights - to heal up and spend time with his family. You know, all the things that Fury, by his own admission, has been doing since April. And he wasn't even just made this request up on the spot. Even before the Joshua rematch, everyone ( = that includes team Fury as well) agreed that Usyk would have a 5 month's break between the Joshua rematch and the undisputed fight against Fury. That was the original agreement anyway, even Bob Arum confirmed this.
I love it how Fury was desperately trying to say something to intimidate Usyk and Oleksandr looked like he was barely paying attention and thinking of something else, eventually answering his phone.
Why not have the surgery now and be ready for March or April lol? He's injured and he fights a 10 round fight risking an even worse injury? WTF? Make it make sense with this cokehead.
Anyone notice that Usyk took a phone call while the psycho Fury was yelling at him? Oh yeah, he's scared. FFS Usyk can feel, only feel. This content is protected
The dorks on here and the butthurt Wilder fan boys will never give Fury a fair shake. He is the best heavyweight of this era and he ducks no body. Before it’s all said and done he will beat Usyk, Joyce and AJ
Furys elbow injuries have been known for a while. But salty threads do make the best threads, and this is a great thread.
anybody who's watched fury's interviews over the years knows fury has been saying he has ****ed elbows/arms.
This is the third time Fury ducks Usyk in a year. You do know that John Fury, in a rare moment of slip-of-the-tongue honesty, admitted that "fighting Usyk would be too tricky for Tyson", right? Also, Peter Fury (who, incidentally, is the only member of the Fury bunch who can talk and act like a civilised human being) confirmed multiple times how team Fury agreed that Usyk was more than capable of beating Fury, and was very dangerous and "as legit as they come". Some middleweight, this Usyk. Two things: 1) Usyk's elbow problems and the issues it caused during the training camp for the Chisora fight were well-documented. Still, I somehow doubt you were this quick to point it out to anyone who was in the "Usyk has no place in HW, look how he struggled against Chisora, how could he deal with the likes of AJ or Fury" camp.2) Fury was talking specifically about his right hand that needed surgery after he injured it on "Derek's big head". Remind me again, how did he know his hand needed surgery? Is he secretly a surgeon with X-ray vision, specialising in hand injuries? Because he surely hasn't spoken to any doctors or medical professionals before talking about how this surgery was necessary and how he would be put out of action for 6-8 weeks as a result. Which is, what a surprise, will interfere with his preparation for the undisputed fight with Usyk planned for February/March. How convenient. If there are any Fury fans left who believe Fury's intentions and words, and still defend him and claim he is not blatantly ducking Usyk (for the third time this year), I have a bridge to sell you.
A joke for fighting Joyce?? Pmsl... Thats the dumbest thing ive read on here in a while! Stupid post of the day right there! Keep your knickers on, Fury and Usyk are fighting for Undisputed next year, before or after Joyce it doesnt matter.
