How did Fury know he needed surgery so soon after the fight?

isn't it possible he had lingering injuries before the chisora fight and knows he needs surgery? There's an interview a while back saying he had ****ed up wrists, elbows, shoulders

 

Fury is already teeing up excuses for why he can't fight Usyk!

 

But this would indeed give the lie to his fans who said he intends to fight Usyk early next year, and he picked Chisora as a reasonable tune-up. And let's be blunt that if he wasn't 100%, then he would not have been fighting Usyk in December even if Oleksandr was ready.

I am not coming down too hard on him, because Usyk asked for a bit of time, and Fury deserves that some courtesy, but it absolutely negates his bravado and bluster. The fight was never going to happen until summer next year. Let's just be honest about it.

Tyson Fury's father said Tuesday that the world heavyweight champion underwent double elbow surgery following last month's win over Deontay Wilder.

Speaking to BT Sport (h/t ESPN), John Fury said his son was "badly injured" going into the Wilder bout:

The elder Fury said Tyson received chromosome injections in both of his elbows and subsequently went under the knife for six hours to get bone spurs removed.

John Fury continued:

"He said to me afterwards, 'I couldn't box, I couldn't work the jab. If I'd missed the jab it would've put me in limp mode and I wouldn't have been able to fight.

"'The pain when throwing the jab was unbearable so I was fighting two people--the pain in my own body and him. All we could do was make it a war and I wanted to win more than he did.'"

But he already have all the time in the world, and already ducked Usyk and Undisputed fight, last year, saying he wants warm up. He was never intended to fight live dog at December, and his team have said multiple time he wants the Undisputed at February. And yeah he is lying to duck Usyk, this is the explanation.

 

So this proves one of them is lying, as Fury said he had surgery on one elbow and still needs it on the other. Hardly a shocker catching he and his family[camp in a lie.

Furys elbow injuries are common knowledge, nice try though.

Just put some cream on, if you dont pay attention to it, the stinging will ease.

 

If people actually listened to what he said instead of jumping on stuff...

He said its been giving him grief through training camp so it needs to be sorted before the usyk fight.

 

The other way of looking at it is is that he knows he needs to be in his best shape to fight Usyk, which means he actually does intend to do it.
