He is a lot faster than Joyce, has a better have, quicker hand speed, better boxing IQ and hits us hard if not harder than Joyce. Fury will stop Joyce imo as he will land so often.

It is quite possible Fury might be coming from behind in the fight, but even if he is I think at some stage he will get Usyk out of their. Be interesting if Fury starts fight with respect for Usyk working behind the jab on the outside, or goes in their like a wrecking ball, taking shots to get in close to rough him up.

You're describing what many people said Joshua should do - get in and mark Usyk. He didn't do it until the 9th round in the 2nd fight and Usyk battered the heart out of him in the 10th to put it beyond doubt. Can't honestly see that happening to Fury at any point.

That being said, I can't see Usyk being KOd either and he's a schooled amateur that knows how to rack up points; it really is an intriguing fight.

If he wants to be the best fighting the best why was he in the ring with Chisora last night?

So how many years closer to dementia did Chisora bring himself last night?

Very intriguing. It's totally different to Joshua's approach, as he was scared to full commit. Fury also has much better slipping and sliding skills, footwork and engine. He is also much better fighting on the chest than Joshua. Fury is the king of leaning on a fighter, and draining them. Joshua doesn't do that. Usyk would undoubtedly cause Fury problems, might even drop him early whilst Fury adjusts to his speed and angles. But ultimately I think Fury will start to dominate and stop him.

fuy maybe not need engine just steam roll the little fella but joyce has better engine than both bigger stronger great skills fast on feet does joyce pose biggest threat for fury i think joyce struggles more with usyk than fury he knocks joshua into next week and he goes firefight with wilder intrieging fights

Usyk was injured and unable to fight until March 2023.

Would agree that non of the Matchroom Heavyweight Puddings should have been in the ring last night although Chisora is the best of a bad bunch plus the only one out of that stable that can take a punch and give him much needed rounds.

Joe Joyce deserved that shot at the title last night.

    No he doesnt.

You guys seem to think because someone has a high output he immediately has a great engine. You need to see how they respond when faced with a guy who can match that. Joe hasnt been in with anyone as a pro where i go "his cardio and outout will give Joe fits".

I'm sure he does care about that stuff to some extent. He just doesn't carefully curate his persona, although not 100% himself on camera. Remember gaygate and jewgate? Not heard him mention that stuff since 2015 so he massaged his image since then. The original guy said that not KOing Chisora would be bad for Fury's "brand", then the other guy said Fury doesn't care about his brand at all bc of all his out of the ring antics.

Whether it's purely for money, or a combo of money and pride/ego, Fury wants to be the man and KOing people in boxing brings in both the punters, the respect and the self-respect. Looking at how he went off on Geordie when he questioned the Chisora fight being relevant or good, he cares about the optics for sure.

I don't know why he doesn't just make the fights with Joshua and Usyk, I am sure he wants to fight them but I am also sure Fury is not the easiest person to negotiate with, Joshua/Eddie also difficult I would say. Usyk, I think they will make that fight but who knows.
