Who will you be rooting for: Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk?

I have my reservations about that regime, but Usyk for what it's worth used to be very hesitant to publicly condemn for example Crimea's accession to Russia for a long time, or to support the Ukrainian establishment(s) since 2014. He is not a person with a black and white world view, with personal ties to (Russian-speaking) Crimea. I have zero problems that someone who identifies himself as Ukrainian opposes what happens to his country now, opposes the foreign intervention or the bombardment of Ukrainian cities. He is not a propaganda man, respectfully (Vitaly probably more is). Offtopic, but I wonder who you mean by child trafficing satanist btw

 

Rooting for Usyk here
He is the underdog, and the humble champion. Fury was great to watch during the Wilder trilogy, but since then he's retired multiple times, doing useless callouts, then fighting opponents who pose no threat. If Fury wins, he adds nothing to the division.

 

Holyfield is the GOAT cruiserweight.. and he is to heavyweight what sugar ray robinson is to middleweight.

I like them both. It's interesting to watch the back and forth between their diehards.

 

I'm happy either way. If Fury wins, he deepens his CV and drastically increases his chance of cracking my top 10 heavies. If Usyk wins, he probably cracks my top 20 boxers

I think the actual fight will be wank and I can see a reverse of Valuev-Haye where Fury wins through the more eye-catching shots. People saying Fury will stop Usyk are talking absolute cap. The only person dropping Usyk is Wilder

 

Fury can be really annoying. All the shouting and whatnot but he's the best HW right now.

Usyk. Although if I was sure Fury would fight Joyce + Joshua in 2023, I'd be ok with that. At least 50/50 chance that if Fury wins he messes around for 12 months with retirements and un-retirements.

 

I like both, I just want to see it.

I think Usyk might have a slight edge now. I always fancied Fury at his best might pip him but I'm not sure that Fury can ever regain that sort of form. Usyk has the skills but Fury might just have enough skill to make the size count.
