For me, it was Marg's ability to take Cotto's flush shots and just walk through them. I didn't expect this. I expected Cotto to outclass Marg so i wasn't surprised by that but i expected those shots to have SOME effect. It was ridiculous how Marg just walked through them. It was like a grown man fighting a boy. This fight just goes to show how far a great chin, stamina, and determination can take you. That's what makes Pavlik so hard to beat. :good

The most surprising thing was that Cotto never went to the body. I understand exactly why this happened, but I didn't exepect it.

Kelly Pavlik is not in the same league as Margarito in terms of chin and stamina.

The most surprising thing for me was the stoppage. I never expected Margarito to stop the likes of Cotto like that, even though I did have money on it happening.

Well, yeah, because going to the body would've meant close quarter fighting and Cotto clearly didn't want any of that. If Cotto's shots had more on them, this would've probably been a completely different fight but when your flush shots aren't doing a damm thing, what can you do? You can only run for so long.

I think the people who said they knew the stoppage was going to happen were lying.

Second surprising thing for me is Cotto's lack of mindfulness to clinch. I mean there's no shame in clinching once in a while. You're trying to win right? Clinching would've done him some good, maybe even get him the close decision. People's would've been all over him for running but he might have the W.

And yes, i agree Pavlik's chin isn't on Marg's level. But it's still pretty solid.

I could not believe how much bigger Margo was than Cotto until they stood face 2 face. Mad Respect to Cotto for fightn The main ww Antonio Margarito. I hope thay have a rematch cause Cotto boxed very well in the fight.

Cotto needs to seriously re-think getting back in the ring with Margarito until he at least has a tune-up fight.

People are thinking that Cotto can fight him again, re-adjust and just win a UD. I disagree.

Was definitely surprised most by the fact that Cotto's accumulation of shots were unable to slow down Margo at all. I kept waiting to see him slow down maybe just a little, but no sir, he just kept coming, he's a monster.

I wasn't really suprised by Margarito not being hurt, I thought Cotto would have to go to points.

The only thing that shocked me was how Cotto crumbled. It was hard to imagine previously.

I agree with the lack of body shots from Cotto being a suprise.

I was surprised at Cotto's inability to hurt Marg. Either Cotto does not hit as hard as I thought or Marg is more resilient or a combination of the 2.

Thats why he lost the fight. If he had clinched and held on to Margo he would have made Margo's puch out decrease. Thats the most important thing to do against a pressure fighter with a great chin. Wlad did against Peter. Cotto should have used the puch and hold tactic alot. If he had done that he would not have gotten so tired so fast. The running is what did him in plus Tony hittn him. . Tony pressured Cotto and Cotto did not do what he should have done.
