No he did what he needed to do for Wilder which was crush him. Wilder is flat footed and 6ft 7. Usyk is shorter, quicker and has much better footwoork than anyone Fury has ever fought.

Being 270 now is just weighing him down. He was much faster in Wilder 1, he will need that speed back.

And even then he'd be left with a flap of skin which would hang down over his butt like a mini skirt. There's a mental image for you @JOKER

Fury’s best performances have always come over 260lbs (Hammer, Chisora 2, Wilder 2). Even the Klitschko fight the scales were off and he was over 260 there. He does have a lot of adipose tissue in weird areas for a man and the narrow shoulders give him quite and unaesthetic look but boxing isn’t a bodybuilding contest.

Fury is NEVER going to be a chiseled Adonis. Just accept it.

Agree completely. It's why I often say that I'd favour a 'best version' Fury over Usyk slightly but that I'm not sure if we'd ever see that version again. If Fury comes in fat he's going to meet a man not born of a mother and receive a spanking. Usyk, as we well know, always comes in ripped.

Have a burger together with Fury. Weight loss can always start tomorrow.

In fact, extra chips and a few pounds of yorkshire pudding will probably make Fury even more manly and large ;)

A good boxer doesn't need to be ripped or have low body fat if his conditioning is good.

Actually a little fat may keep their energy levels high and get them hydrated if glycogen (carbohydrates) in their muscles gets depleted. When the body burns fat, it produces energy and water. Good for an athlete.

I predict that Fury will beat Usuk but it was past his prime Usyk who is undersized and we still need to look if there is a good fighters he have beaten.

His fans was already making those excuses ready before he fought AJ first time

    "Slightly in shape"

Probably coming from a fat degenerate.

Of course he can't get in that shape anymore; he's been up around 30 stone and come back down, as well as being a decade older. He'll always look very flabby now (providing he doesn't have surgery, which serves no practical purpose) even if he's in optimal condition. But that's fine because there's nothing more humiliating for a narcissistic bodybuilder than being beaten by a fat man, as Wlad, Joshua and Wilder can attest.

Yeajh slightly in shape. Especially for a fighter. Like Mike Tyson was morbidly obese and got ripped at 55. Enough with the excuses.
