What are Fury’s weaknesses

His mouth helped him beat Wlad, Haye & Wilder without throwing a punch. He's already buried deep in AJ's mind and many more. Usyk has the perfect defence, no understanding of English.

He has avoided punchers at every turn. The two exceptions? 40 year old Wlad who had four belts, Then Fury ducked the rematch. Wilder, who sucks aside from his overhand right. He also held a belt. fury hasn't ever faced a puncher willingly who didn't hold a belt. there has to be a reason....

HIs chin is suspect, but he has great recuperative powers.

It was mentioned above but he does clinch a lot; laying his fat lard butt on people. Usyk won't get caught in such clinches.

Next weakness is his love handles. Takes a lot of energy from him when they jiggle for 12 rounds.

Fury avoided most everyone. Go suck him off some more. You should have been suspended for life as you add nothing to the forum. Odds are a few of these new morons are your alts.

 

Exactly my thoughts. He's prone to lapses in concentration and this is one way I see him getting beaten, by somebody who is able to finish him after he's been rocked as you say.

Will be interesting to see how he does against Usyk if it materialises, master boxer and fights at a crazy high tempo. Can Fury keep up or catch him? Not sure. If it goes to points I'd imagine Usyk could well take it on unbiased scorecards.

 

I think Joyce rather than Usyk will expose Fury. Usyk might be able to out do Fury with speed and skill, but I think Fury will be too strong for Usyk and more skilful than Joshua to use it. I have never seen Fury put under constant pressure by an equally large opponent who will not be phased or pushed back by Fury. I think Fury will be exposed when he cannot dictate the pace and how the fight is going. Constant pressure, hard puncher, and an iron chin is probably what it will take to beat Fury. Joyce is the only fighter I feel could tick all three enough to execute it for a full fight.

 

Well he seems vulnerable to right hands, since all of his knockdowns have been from right hands 4 times to Wilder, 1 time to Cunningham, 1 time to Pajkic. He also isn't always in the best of shape and can be up and down with his form. I also think Fury likes to fight at his own pace, and i feel if someone could break up that rhythm his stamina might come into question.

 

I kinda agree, I think that if Fury isn't able to impose his size on Usyk he will struggle though. Usyk fights at a pace Fury hasn't seen before so will be interesting to see how he deals with it. If he can't impose his size I think he's in trouble.

100% agree on Joyce though, he's got the main attributes to trouble Fury. Although I would favour Fury if they fought. Kinda, the complete opposite of what Usyk brings, both extremes, Usyks speed, reactions, skill and IQ vs Joyce's pressure, size, power and chin bring tough challenges.

(If you could take the best bit's of Usyk and Joyce that would be pretty much the perfect HW).

 

Really good points. Definitely not writing Usyk off. It will be a very interesting watch to see how it plays out.

His chin is quite average. Most people mix chin and recovery up. Fury's recovery abilities are inhuman. I don't there's anyone in the history of the sport who could knock him out cold. Knocking him down, yes, that can happen - even current journeymen like Cunningham or Pajkic managed to do so. Knocking him out - seemingly impossible. If Wilder couldn't do it, who could?

But his chin is nothing to write home about. I can see Joyce beating him by TKO if Joyce keeps coming through Fury's jab, throwing bombs in Fury's face and the referee stopping the fight after Fury gets knocked down several times.
