Because his brain is broken for multiple flush punches to the head, it’s hard to be too harsh. It really will take a toll on ex boxers.
well yes but it’s still to remain confidential. Remember the board never announced anything themselves due to the confidentiality so if they instead decided to leak it themselves they may need to answer why they did so. he wasn’t banned but the board still said the fight shouldn’t happen. A decision they made 2 days before the fight when they had all the information weeks in advance. Again the question could be why?
Understand your point, just don’t know why it’d impact whether Benn gets banned or not if he’s cheated…
EDDIE HEARN EXCLUSIVE: “CONOR BENN SHOULD NOT BE BANNED!”, Fury-Chisora, Usyk, AJ Trainer & Warren - YouTube
I haven't seen Trafford on this thread for a while. Think he thought if he added an element of doubt to the thread it would fizzle out. An Eddie Hearn 101 tactic
There's no requirement that it has to be tested, it stays in the lab's freezers for 10 yrs as far as I know, unless Conor Benn requests it to be tested. As far as I know he hasn't, and the case should proceed under normal circumstances. Which they aren't ... 1) cos it was a VADA test although I don't think that means action can't be taken against Benn ....... and 2) Benn has not renewed his licence, dunno whether that means the BBBoC can't proceed or not, maybe it does. But he's attempting to avoid getting the harsher UKAD 2yr or 4yr ban, and seeing if he can get a short, inconsequential punishment from the WBC and then get a new licence under some other jurisdiction isn't he?
Dunno, that's what Canelo got, but he proved he had eaten "contaminated steak" at a restaurant didn't he? And the rules were subsequently changed to allow a certain level of Clenbuterol in the system to account for this. Still, that would have been a 2 yr ban under IKAD rules I think. Anyway, Benn should have a much more difficult case doing similar with Clomifene, but ..... boxing works in .... errrr .... mysterious ways.
