Teofimo got beaten by Martin last night. Everybody knows what Taylor will do to Teofimo if he steps up against him.

 

Sorry my bad. First I thought that the fight was scheduled at 135 pounds. However, it was not a good sign at all for Lopez as he was sent to the floor 2 times in this fight. I think that you can imagine how Taylor will do to Lopez if they both meet.

If you aren't mental iron you are not a top G.

Loma's mentality was gone for the first 6 rounds against Lopez maybe a gameplan fault but it cost him the titles.

There are only a few proven men in boxing who are mental iron top G's WITH the skill to match. They're called Inoue, Fury, Usyk, Bivol, Berberburtieveeieisaka.

 

I hate to see this. I really had high hopes for teo he needs some major changes starting with getting rid of his dad as trainer.

 

Lopez got knocked down twice against a guy who took the fight on three weeks notice and isn’t a power puncher. His face looked pretty banged up against a guy who he complained “ran” all night. Martin boxed well and Teo was very inaccurate. He also was allowed to punch pretty low all night with no warnings. I was half asleep when I watched the fight and need to watch it again but don’t recall him being warned for low punches. Teo gets sparked by any of the top fighters at 140 and clearly lost that fight last night. The one judge who scored it heavily in Teo’s favor should be banned for life.

Afterwards, Teo showed his typical no class reaction and I’m sure his father was even more classless. Two unlikeable punks who are grasping for a few more seconds in the spotlight. I can’t think of a more unlikeable pair. Entitled losers who are circling the toilet bowl.

 

Teo has enough raw material to succeed if can he recuit a veteran, professional trainer to refine his craft. The kid appears to be regressing, and if he doesn't hire a genuine pro and soon to arrest this decline, the downward spiral will be irreversible.

 

To be fair, the knockdowns were 100% balance related. He wasn’t hurt at all. So Sandor being featherfisted doesn’t mean much.

 

The fights I want to see now are:

Lopez-Prograis

and

Anderson-Wilder or Ajagba

Lopez is one of the most mentally fragile top fighters in the game right now and Anderson is very hittable.

 

I'm not a Teo fan but the knockdowns werent anything special at all.. he never was hurt... off balance and the other guy didnt put any pressure on him at all.. I was looking for a reason to say that Martin won but just cant seem to find it... ineffective aggression beat the step away or step back style tonight
