I know his resume doesn't stack up to the greats but he is an awesome fighter.
Obviously Avanesyan isn't the greatest opponent but he is extremely solid and tough. The first round Crawford came out in his weaker orthodox stance and soon realized he couldn't play with this guy he made the adjustment and did exactly what he needed to do against an opponent like that. Crawford's power comes from his timing and accuracy he is beautiful to watch and he always gets his man in the end.

Crawford does subtle things in the ring that only the greats can do what he did when he thought he was behind against Porter was incredible. I really believe that he will stop Spence in the later rounds if they do fight.

I am not saying that Crawford is unbeatable but the man is a savage and he stops at nothing to win.

Crawford's resume is horrendous. We need to see if he can execute against top level opponents. The Porter stoppage was a disgrace. I do believe he'll carve Spence up if and when they do step into the ring.

Yep, I agree with this summation. Let's face it, he fought who he could moving up in the weights, not unlike GGG, you can only fight who's available. It looks bad that he hasn't been able to get Spence and he doesn't appear to chase the big fights but you can't argue his in ring ability. He's clearly been the best american fighter for years now.

Crawford definitely outboxes and stops Spence if that fight ever happens.

He’s good in the same way a prospect is good. Of course he’s gonna look amazing and be able to show off his entire skill set since the opposition level is so low.

Yes the stoppage was bad in the Porter fight but I think Crawford would've finished him properly before the end of the round anyway. The fact that he thought he was down and was able to go out and drop him immediately was impressive.

Yep and IMO Spence's current resume is not that much better anyway.

This is so deductive. Was ggg a prospect before Jacobs too?

Spence's win against Ugas is actually better than anything Crawford has done up to this point

I didn’t say Crawford was a prospect, I’m saying he looks amazing since he’s only fought lesser opponents, like a prospect.

He’s good, but overhyped to the MAX. His defense is above average at best. I feel like a boxer who has good timing, counter-punching skills and a strong jab would be his biggest challenge. Based on what I’ve observed from his last two fights, I feel like Spence will be able to force him to fight in a phone booth type of fight.

Crawford's skills in boxing are amazing. He has great counters and great angles. Crawford is not going to stand in front of Spence for trading punches like Ugas did. He's not that stupid. It's so regret that Crawford turned down the fight against Spence. Hope that he will not duck Spence in 2023.

His resume doesnt match his talent but hes a great fighter no doubt about it...A shame we probably dont get to see him against Spence and Jermell i think those fights would be terrific and would be a big boost to his resume.

He's 35 and lower weight fighter, they tend to burn out quicker. Enjoy him wile the skills last and let's hope he fights real talent.
