Haha, mad how I've just seen this thread after seeing Nick Peet come up on my 'people you may know' on Facebook. I met him a few years ago for lunch with the intention of being a guest on his radio show in Liverpool. He's a nice bloke but he's ridiculously biased towards scouse fighters which sometimes undermines his point at times.
Always found Catterall’s ‘Wahey love a tear up me’ persona grating, but the pair of them lost any credibility as moral arbiters of boxing the moment they took the Kinahan blood money.
Lost alot of credibility with me when they signed with Probellum. Nick has made a tit of himself the past few days thinking Paddy won his fight in Vegas and then creaming himself over Paul Butler's 'great defensive work' against Inoue today. Crying about bias in fight sports and he's guilty of the exact same thing!
I enjoy listening to their podcast, and have done for about 4 years. Nick is starting to grate on me though. I enjoying listening to Adam though. out of interest, how do these podcasts make money. I know these guys have their fingers in a few pies, but can you make decent money from a podcast. Is it generated from Ad revenue?
Find them both very irritating although I am surprised to hear about the Kinahan links - I’ve only ever listened to one fight disciples pod and one that one they were calling him out and weren’t mincing their words.
They worked as commentators for Probellum for a few months before the reward on Kinahan stuff came out and they vanished off social media and stopped doing their podcasts for a week or 2. Came a few weeks after they were constantly calling out the integrity of boxing following Taylor v Catterall so they looked a bit silly. I find the pair of them insufferable on a Sam Jones level.
