TUA - ARREOLA is ALMOST INKED

Odds would probably be 2/1 in favor of Arreola. My money is on Tua for the upset.

Tua is going to get tko'd on his feet, Areola will catch him from the outside because Areola can box a bit when he feels he has to. His Chin is pretty solid too.

 

Tua will win this with a brutal KO.

 

There's this idea that Arreola is going to be backing Tua up and being aggressive, catching him on the ropes. Most of Arreola's punches come from the outside. He's not a Margo type fighter. He walks his opponents down when he catches them. So look for Tua to back up Arreola. Tua has never fought on the back foot. So if Arreola doesn't back up, it's an inside fight in the center of the ring, much like Salif vs Tua.

5 years ago tua in a walk,,,but fighters get old overnight,,arreola might be catching tua just right,,arreola has enough size to avoid too many shots,,so tuas chances will be limited to a few big shots,,if arreolas chin can handle those limited amount of big shots,,he wins,,tua will be favorite,,im putting my money on arreola and taking odds

 

I will say this - no matter how tough a rock is, you hit it enough times and it will crumble. Much like McCall, each year Tua goes on the more you have to feel that eventually, with a hard enough hitter in there, even they will finally fall.

Not that I'm picking Arreola to KO Tua or anything, but relying on durability is not a long-term plan. Tua has about one bite at the cherry left and he needs to get a wiggle on.
