I missed the topless spunks (see also: rats and bubbles). :(

If not for the Argentinians, the cup was surely going to be won by Australia. Unlucky.

Cowabunga dude! Thanks for the heads up. Searching topless spunks, World Cup, Argentina right now….<rubbing hands together>

Most memorable for me is John Conteh defeating the Argentine Jorge Ahumada to become Light Heavyweight champion of the world

That was another guy I liked a lot---Ahumada. Hardly hear that name mentioned any more--right up there with Erdei.

Just think of the wear and tear on a guy fighting a Galindez 3x. Then, throw in Foster and Conteh. Jorge was another guy that came along at the wrong time in a tough division.

As a still - relatively - young fan, I'll never forget Sergio Martinez's 1 punch ko of Paul Williams.
It was one of the most shocking moments I witnessed in boxing, I literally remember that moment like yesterday - when it was, where I was, who I was around etc.

Maidana humbling Broner was extremaly satisfying watch also.

Mathysse deserves some love for always giving some exciting fights and KOs. Shame that we didn't get to see him and Maidana fight.

The Williams KO was up there with the best single punch kayos in history.

It was arguably the most surprising one since Tarver KO’ed Jones and similar to Nunn’s KO of Kalambay in that it was a punch perfectly delivered by a fighter not known for his power against a guy previously considered to be durable.
