If Joshua can't beat Joyce then that's pretty bad, he'll have shown that just about any style gives him problems, with Ruiz, Usyk & Joyce being extremely different types of fighters. If they do clash, then AJ would have the opportunity to continue to show improvement, because JJ is slow and easy to hit & Joshua, if nothing else, is an extremely hard puncher - he will have plenty of opportunity to land. Joyce has shown a granite chin, so far. Has he ever been in with a guy that can crack like Joshua?
This content is protected Anthony Joshua assured that his fight against Deontay Wilder will be for the year 2023, despite the speculation that was established about it. Apparently, there will be a shot between the two heavyweights. "Our offer to Deontay Wilder will be clear," he warned. "Here is an amount of money. If we have to work with cross networks, we have no problem doing so. AJ is exclusive to DAZN, so we could set up a dual stream, or look at deals."
Betting on Joyce to beat Dubois was the first thing bet I did on here. Also the easiest pick until Ken Shiro fought Kyoguchi, lol.
Yeah I remember reading on the forum most people were backing Dubois over Joyce which was nonsense. I still think Joshua would beat Joyce though.
So Joshua does not mention Joe Joyce . If Joshua truly believes he beats Joyce in a round the fight should not be too hard to make . https://www.skysports.com/boxing/ne...-one-round-if-the-british-heavyweights-fought
I lean towards Joshua but his propensity to being caught with flush shots and the weight gap makes me skeptical.
I think Joshua could KO Joyce, actually. Joyce is easy even for smaller fighters to land on, so Joshua probably won't have much trouble due to his range and is much faster. People seem to think Joyce's chin is magic, but nobody can just take flush bombs from biggest hitters if the punches are accurate enough. However, people are probably right to say Joyce might weather it if Joshua can't put him away and then grind him down. So just a risky fight for the Big Joshie brand. Better to fight smaller fighters who don't pose much threat, or guys around 40. But since Joyce is on the wrong side of 30, he might just get a chance soon. Give him Covid also and the fight could be made.
Because Joshua knows he's designed for failure and Joyce would humiliate him in front of millions Joshua has lost all his fights in the last 3 years. He has no boxing ability, he's washed up, he has no IQ and he doesn't know war My plumber could beat AJ now
He has mentioned Joe Joyce. He showed old footage of them sparring when he outclassed him saying nothing has changed. I am sure they will fight down the line but the title will have to be at stake and it’s not an easy fight for either man.
If AJ fights Wilder next i'll renounce the religion of Fury and become a buddhist monk nicknamed Anthony.
Why would AJ mention Joyce? AJ wants money and/or titles, Joyce brings neither at present. Joyce outside of boxing fans is virtually unknown, if a hundred random men in the street were asked to name an opponent that Joyce had beaten, it is likely the majority would struggle to name one. So a fight between AJ and Joyce would require a lot of marketing, Joyce brings nothing that AJ wants, a bout vs Joyce is high risk low gain for AJ
