    I'm not getting this. Can someone explain this please?

    He got put down and then went down again but his corner stepped in.

    What am I missing? What suggests it's a bottle job?

    I will say what is usually said here about a boxer after a devastating loss.

    "Cotto is shot, he's a bum, he should retire."

    Not that I believe it but I will just follow the trend.

    You are quite right achilles. Those labelling a brave fighter a quitter after he was punched to a standstill (and still did NOT quit anyway!) after a momental fight are subhuman scum.

    Exactly, not only was Cotto completely gassed his eyes were swelling and he was cut extremely bad. The man was to the point where he had nothing left and couldn't see.

    Of course the warriors on ESB critizing him would have stopped Margarito Corrales/Castillo style in that situation. :roll:
