Fighter of the Year: Inoue, Bivol is #2 but I can't give him to crown until he fights Beterbiev. Fight of the Year (also of the decade so far): Opetaia vs Briedis and it's not close. KO of the Year: Gil vs Guerfi, but so many great candidates like Wood, Cordina, Plant, etc. Prospect of the Year: He's not a prospect but if people are pointing to Stevenson and Stanionis then I am going to say William Zepeda. Never fought for a major belt, still mostly fighting 10 rounds or less, I'm allowing it.
For upset of the year, though it shouldn't have been an upset in retrospect, gotta go with Bivol vs Canelo. Clown of the year is a two-fer with Gervonta Davis and Connor Benn.
I never saw Wood vs. Conlan yet. I'm going to watch it right now. Probably the last boxing match I watch in 2022.
