Fighters That Aren't ATG s (In your Opinion)?

No Footage bar that sparring video and by that he was so bad lol

 

there is more than enough footage of the Era and HIS Opponents to get an Idea,
plus the Fight Records and Cross Record Checking, to see Who fought Who (Competition), and then the ACTUAL Reports & Consensus...

What more does anyone need, that is ALL You Need for ANY Fighters.

I too don't think Greb is the mythological creature that he is made out to be, because I believe Boxing, moreso Style, Athleticism and Craft improved overall by the 30s... but in saying that GREB was/is a phenomenon, His Record - Win or Lose, his Longeviety at the Top and the unbelievable numbers of FIGHTS, also against MANY Top Men. Remarkable.

Greb IS a Great!

 

Floyd Patterson? A very good fighter but I feel he lost when he fought any genuine ATGs apart from Archie Moore. His other good wins are Johansson (who is Eurolevel great IMO), Cooper, Machen, Bonavena and Chuvalo. This stands against loses to Liston, Eliis, Ali and Quarry. I feel his blow outs to Liston sort of put his level in perspective. However happy to be corrected/educated by Floyd fans
