No because becoming "undisputed" has become all but impossible with these disgusting belt dealers.

Fury will be undisputed for about 2 weeks before he gets stripped by the IBF for not fighting a crappy mando just like after he beat Wlad.

It's down to boxing fans to determine who is the best man and the lineal title which none of these bodies can claim is a good marker.

Fury already is the undisputed people just haven't accepted it yet.

Joe Joyce is the defaco #1 just in front of Wilder when Fury retires next year. Problem is he will only be able to get his hands on 1 maybe 2 belts.

No because of the stupid sanctioning bodies and their consistent parting of belts.

If everything goes fairly, Joyce will definitely be the champion...

I think he'll pick up a title at some point, but I highly doubt he'll be undisputed. I suspect the titles will split after Fury/Usyk regardless of who wins and when you consider the last time the titles were all held by one man was Lewis in 2000 after Lewis was stripped for facing Grant instead of Ruiz, the chances of them being unified again so soon is highly unlikely.

You've kind of undermined your own argument there... But you are right that it won't be long before Fury is stripped as by then all four mandatories will have been called (Hrgovic, Joyce, Dubois, Ruiz/Wilder winner). Although Fury would take his chances fighting all four on the same night.

In my books Joyce deserves the first shot and I hope Fury decides to fight him regardless of belts because he's the only credible threat (maybe aside from Wilder due to his power...you never know).

But Joyce's style doesn't rely on speed so he could fight into his forties and potentially pick them all up again.

No. Too old, too hittable, too beatable.

He has all the credentials to become champion of a belt or undisputed. All depends on Usyk first and on that fool of Fury if he decides:
    - to vacate the title when WBC will order him to face him or Usyk stopping him to face old men or half toned boxers
    - to face him and then Usyk or viceversa

I suppose anything is possible. But, he certainly won't become an undisputed Champ based on his talent.

Joyce could win a belt and hold it for a while, maybe a long while.
But he needs to build up a much greater following to be able to
    negotiate at the undisputed level.

He's already 38 y/o and whilst he's a fresh 38 if he losses a notch of speed or two it will completely disrupt his slow-fast speed equilibrium. Right now it's the most perfect balance of slow-fast speed I've ever seen but slow-fast speed is a very delicate balance between slow and fast and if you're a notch too slow or a notch too fast it can transform you from ATG to bum status in the blink of an eye. But you keep doubting The Juggernaut, and The Juggernaut will keep proving you wrong. You bet he can become undisputed if politics allows for it.

Looking at the heavyweight situation in 2023 I don't see how he gets a shot next year . Which means he's at least 39 or 40 before he might get a title shot and it more than likely won't be for all the belts either.
