I just watched the Ennis interview. He says he wants to go through 147-160 and possibly to 168. That will be exciting to see. He looks incredible so far and I hope he achieves his goals.
Yep. Jake is about greatness. Nate Diaz isn't just a MMA legend, a legit OG and real street dude He's a freaking Gracie jiu-jitsu 3rd degree black belt He choked out Sugar ''Money'' Mac for goodness sake
Have people here never been involved in athletic competition? You’re meant to think you’re the best first, then you work hard to prove it. Once you’ve proved it you stop thinking you’re the best, you don’t care anymore. The lack of basic psychological understanding on display here…
You’re absolutely clueless about how the human body works. If a fighter starts fighting every month then they will get annihilated against the top competition that only fights twice a year. There’s a reason why old school fighters are so unathletic and lacking in boxing skill.
Exactly, and it’s absolutely delusional to think that we don’t all carry around helpful delusions in our everyday life. I’ll get the job, the girl etc. despite the odds being against me. That makes you work for it and take chances to actually increase your chances. Depressed people have been shown to be more realistic in their assessments. According to the idiot fans here, boxers should be walking around depressed until they magically find themselves sitting as the best boxer in the world.
Stay outraged on an internet message board then, every person who achieves anything relies on irrational beliefs to get them there. If you’re talking about Broner or Teo Lopez then I agree with you, after those losses and obvious flaws you need to humble yourself and regroup. For a fighter who is coming up who is Uber-talented like Ennis, it would only do his career harm if he didn’t believe he was the best in the world.
Boots passes the eye test! He's entitled to feel he's the best in the world, even though he hasn't proven that yet. I think a couple of year down the round, he will be! However, not at this point.
He's the worst of the lot. Take out a couple of the fighters from his resume and he's not even close to being what he claims!
I'm backing Ennis all the way Yes he needs better opponents but I'm really liking what I have seen from him
