I think boots is more talented but he showed that he still has a lot of learning to do. I’d go with Ortiz right now based on the fact that he’s more experienced and has proven whiskers.
I think Crawford is one step ahead of everyone at WW. Ennis has gifts but was struggling too much to set himself the other night, Crawford could make him miss just as much but make him pay far more.
Broner modeled himself after Floyd. They were on his nuts big time like that. As soon as Maidana beat him, you started seeing the hype of Broner become less and less. But it was still there. “He’s so talented”. Uh, not really. lol erased his hiccup. He was felled like a redwood.
Most probable outcome. Ortiz has never been the hunted and had to stay on his bike before. Ortiz won't ever take this fight unless he has no other alternative.
Vergil is a grinder and takes a lot of damage compared to the skill gap between him and his opponents. I'd favor Ennis over Vergil but Ennis still has to answer a few questions. The first question got answered last weekend when he struggled to finish a guy with a lot of movement who was running at the end. Ortiz is a different matchup tho. 60/40 Ennis at this point.

Crawford isn't cute, doesn't move anywhere near as much and can be hit. And Crawford is a dog, if he gets hit he wants to fire back, he's not gonna play the negative role. Boots in this fight opened himself up to make Karen commit, but can evade (thus far) with the best of em. I can't criticize someone who wins every minute of every round very harshly. Also, for ex. Crawford looked pedestrian against Klimov but dominated, people were booing that fight as well, his next fight he won the title. I'm looking at it all in context.
I think it all depends on whether Ortiz can sustain effective pressure. Ennis is used to being able to overwhelm his opponents with flash. Ortiz would need to not only be the aggressor, but be able to cut off the ring and pin Ennis and get him out of his comfort zone. I think if they fought right now it goes the distance and Ennis wins a decision based on styles but I think opinions would vary on who won. Ortiz would have to get Ennis on his bike, or KO him to win. A 50/50 fight though.
Both fighters are looking more and more vulnerable, which makes this fight even more exciting. I'm still on the fence with this one. 50/50 fight for sure. Either of them can knock the other guy out.
