    Shot for shot? Lopez, of course. Not that close. Gomez was a swarming accumulation puncher.

    And he ( Gomez) was much better skilled. But as you noted shot for shot " Little Red" over the " Bazooka ".

    I’ve spoke to Albert Davila and he said that Danny had the heaviest hands of the guys he shared the ring with. He’s been in with Gomez as you know and Zárate. He sparred hundreds of rounds with Danny and said one time Danny hit him so hard it really hurt him.
