If Dazn disappears will sky sports welcome Eddie Hearn back with open arms?

I subscribe to them all for my sins. Dazn is cheapest but they all add up. I suspect Dazn will end up at a price point comparable to others. I get surveys asking me about the price and it tends to go up after each.

I used to subscribe to it before I was married, me and my housemate shared the 10er a month. It was great as whilst there wasn't loads of new boxing every week, the reruns were epic. I loved Bunceys show too. And I subscribed partly as it was great that Warren was trying something new. I think it's gone now, but not 100% sure.

That would have been the ideal outcome. Warren’s relationship with Arum plus Top Rank having a deal with Sky could have set up loads of great fights.

Warren's children seem to be building well too. They don't bad mouth anyone either as far as I've seen. And Warren seems to be reverse ageing

There's no way Sky will take Hear back with open arms.

I think Sky are quite happy with Boxxer. They don't want it to happen again that they build up a new promoter and then he leaves them like we saw with Hearn / Matchroom.

By the way : Eddie Hearn is hated by everyone in the boxing world and I've heard that DAZN is getting desperate.

I like what Ben Shalom is doing. People criticise his personality or see him as a bit boring but it really doesn't matter how he comes across.

Because of having Hearn in the limelight for years, people have gotten it into their minds now that promoters have to be front and centre, flash smile, salesman type of characters. Truth is, when you have Sky and their promotional power you don't need to be a mouthpiece.

Beefy was on Soccer AM yesterday, there's plenty of opportunities with SKY to get the fight into people's front rooms.

Hearn and Sky were a match made in heaven.

Hearn f*cked them over. They won’t forget or forgive.

The grass isn’t always greener on other side. (I sound like David Brent!)

I don't necessarily agree. Boxing does need the characters and salesmen to crossover, doesn't have to be the promoter but you need something to work.

Yeah, you never know how accurate the reporting of sports politics is, but it sounded like quite an acrimonious split with the boxing division who were left starting from scratch after a sizable investment of time and assets in the matchroom stable.

Doubt Barney and co would be rushing to get him back, although MR are clearly still working successfully with sky on other sports.
