Lest we run out of vegetables and fruits, let’s expand our search into the animal kingdom, starting with sea creatures as well as those who dwell in lakes, rivers and such.

Fish of all varieties, of course, are welcome but let’s not limit ourself. Any aquatic creature is welcome here, so bring on your oysters and urchins and the like, crabs and shrimp as well. But no amphibians … that will have to be for another day.

    So I’ll get us started:

    Austin Trout

    Squid Chocolate

    Mackerel Antonio Barracuda

Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard and all the rays (manta and sting, etc)

Benny Bass (Philly lightweight of the 1980s who won 190 bouts, nicely nicknamed “Little Fish”)

    Bobby Crab(tree)

    Who else do we have?

This is very clever, but is it really a useful debate for this forum?

Or the famous promoter Mike Rollmops. Some people think he was a lobster.

You’re right. I should have started another Rockfish Marciano thread instead.
