Why is Anthony Joshua facing the worst possible opponent next?

    The most appropriate thing about this fight is that it's on April Fools day.

    Because it's obvious he can't win against Usyk, Fury (from who he escaped thanks to the cheap Hearn tricks), Joyce and is 50:50 against Wilder. It's questionable if he can win a trilogy against Ruiz. I'm sure Joshua is finished as a top, happened to others. Plus, he was more of a hype.

    Yeah, confidence is a weird thing. Some fighters can just pick themselves up, accept their losses and limitations and keep fighting on. AJ's confidence is utterly gone, realising he isn't as great as he thought he was has messed him up bad.
