Eubank Jr tried to do the Roy Jones Jr style and failed miserably.

I think it’s wise for most boxers to st have at least some knowledge of the basics holding a guard and throwing the one two which won’t get you anywhere on its own but if you can’t do that what can you do. Roy Jones was a freakish talent and concur he’s probably not the best trainer for most people. What the **** does he teach them? Watch his own fights which are impossible to replicate. Jones has no experience in the basics as on a different planet

It’s not why he lost though. Just needs to take it on the chin to excuse the pub. He is where he is level wise

Really, you want to pretend that Roy didn’t know how to throw a 1-2? Look at the Paz and Ruiz fights. Being unorthodox and unpredictable is an advantage, you need the iq to make it work. Look at Froch for an example of a guy who fought in a similar manner, he didn’t have the physical gifts but he had the chin and toughness to compensate. Calzaghe was similar. Let’s not pretend that way of fighting is any lesser than the orthodox way of fighting.

Hard to transform a fighter past 30. Eubank Sr's putting him up for adoption.

Eubank wasn't likely to get flattened because he avoided the top dogs at MW removing the chance. I just didn't account for how bad Eubank actually was that he could get KO'd by a not so stellar Jr. MW.

The Eubankssses were not known previously for bad chins so Jr. must have caught that Glass Chinnitis from Roy.

Roy as a trainer failed here. Eubank has not learned that much over his career IMO. Eubank's best times are when he fights as he wants to. The moment you tell these boxers to start boxing I think they struggle more.
