I would definitely say Joshua's fall has been greater. Not only was he regarded as the best by most but now he's rated underneath Wilder by most.

Well, when Wilder starched Breazeale in a round a few weeks before Joshua fought Ruiz, Joshua claimed it affected him and hurt his confidence (because Wilder took care of him so easily and Joshua took a while to chop Breazeale down).

So, hopefully, for Joshua's sake, they don't wedge Wilder-Ruiz in before Joshua-Franklin.

Or Joshua might have yet another panic attack when Ruiz kisses the floor face first ... and his tattooed backfat slowly spreads out all of the canvas.

Wilder was never as high as Joshua, and his fall was nowhere near as hard

A lot of people are talking about AJ's loss to Ruiz, but something was wrong with AJ before the fight, it was clear to see, probably a concussion in sparring and Edward still made him fight. He did avenege the loss too as people are forgetting. So I see it more as 2 losses to Usyk and 2 losses to Fury for both. AJ was not destroyed by Usyk, like Wilder was KO'd by Fury 2 times.

AJ by far. His loss to Ruiz was his introduction to the US. The plan was to take over in the US. He failed fantastically. Wilder was just exposed for the fighter many fans knew him to be.

    AJ.
AJ lost to two boxers. Wilder lost to one boxer; legitimate lineal heavyweight champion.

Nobody out there is taking on good competition if they can help it. Fury fought bum ass Whyte, then tried to fight Charr, settled for Chisora. Now he wants to fight the 40 year old mma clown.

Wilder was billed as the biggest puncher since Foreman and then he was out punched by a guy seen as featherfisted.

AJ fought more world champions and much better opposition both amateur and pro.

Fought way more punchers amateur and pro.

And AJ has performed better against almost all their common opponents amateur and pro IIRC with the exception of Breazeale

AJ was a three belt unified champion when he was 21-0

The Dosser didn't win a world title until his 33rd fight and he only ever held one belt.

The Dosser is a garbage hype job bum

I agree. He wasn't destroyed by Usyk. In fact, Joshua stomped around the ring afterward throwing a tantrum because he actually thought he won.

If he'd gotten the decision he thought he deserved, would he be scheduled to fight Jermain Franklin next? Hell no.

So why does he need a confidence booster opponent if he thought he won?

Why not fight Hrgovic for the IBF interim strap?

Why not fight Fury? The fight was offered to Joshua when Joshua said he wanted to fight in December.

Why not have a showdown with Joyce?

    Why not fight Wilder?

Why does a guy who thinks he won need such a soft touch? Why did he need eight months to get ready to fight someone like Jermain Franklin?

And why are all his fans saying he needs an easy win, if he didn't get beat up last time out?

    Anthony Joshua was 21-0.

He could fall to 24-4 next time out.

Audley Harrison was 24-4 at one point.

What a collapse that would be.

Audley could finish his career with a better win-loss record than Joshua.

Will Joshua even break 30 wins in his career if he loses again this year?

Yeah, but was anyone really surprised at Wilder losing to Fury? AJ losing to Ruiz was a huge surprise. Not too many people saw that one coming.

AJs. And it's not even close. Wilder always looked like a bum boxer with insane power. He was losing to grandpa Ortiz twice before landing that KO shot. He was outboxed by Szpilka and Washington at times lol. The only reason his fall was that high: His own delusional attitude and mindset. AJ on the other side was an international boxing star, he sold out stadiums in the UK and the fight against Ruiz should have been an easy W to introduce him to the US crowd. Didn't happen. He looked like a glass jawed and nervous bum who can't handle the pressure at all. Despite losing the rematch, Ruiz took his soul. And i'm pretty sure Andy Ruiz Jr still lives rent free in AJs head somehow. Losing to Usyk wasn't really a fall. But the loss to Ruiz clearly was and it was a huge one.
