yea he went a bit overboard there but to be fair the whole espn team was on that narrative

i thought dalakian had a poor performance but they should have showed him more respect than that

not so valid, tough competitive fight, thought dalakian looked like crap but won the last 2 rounds and i felt fairly edged it

 

Maybe I'm getting my rounds wrong but I remember his corner saying after one of the early rounds "you lost that round" and not offering any real advice and saying "are you listening", Itauma never responded positively and then the rest is history, I think he wasn't ready for this level of competition

Was at the end of the fourth after he spent a round trying to fight at range as per the advice and was getting lit up again. It was obvious he hasn't got the experience to deal with a decent counterpuncher and the only round he won for me(the third) he did by smothering Maderna's work with workrate. Was a big step up for him and hopefully when he watches it back him and his team can pick up on the errors.

 

I have never liked Bob Arum but you have to respect this 91 year old still flying out to these events and doing his thing. He'll have a Zimmerframe soon & still be doing his thang.
