I just got back from the gym and my coach told me that although its good to sweat that judging by the way I sweated during todays class I might wanna cut back on sodium consumption and it will help my stamina
I dont put salt on my food, not big on potato chips and dont drink any sodas
so what might be some good ways to cut down on sodium

Do you eat at subway? The average subway sandwich contains 9x the amount of salt of a bag of potato chips.

Different people sweat different amounts. It's not a bad thing to sweat.

Lol no he just said he doesn't...

Well since we don't really know your daily diet we can't tell you what to cut back on; All I can suggest is reading the label and check the sodium. You don't want to completely stop eating sodium but maybe try and reduce eating things that contain large amounts of it.

Read food labels. You do need a certain amount of sodium though. I don't see how sweating a lot is related to sodium intake.

sweating is not a bad thing. Different bodies sweat different amounts... as amy stated previously.

you do need a certain amount of sodium in your diet but simply just read the nutrition labels and the daily % value and you should be just fine

Sodium is also needed to absorb vital minerals and ****. You drink water all the time, you likely end up with a shortage of Zinc unless you supplement with a good multi.

Consult a nutritionist, he may not know what he is talking about.

Even if you never use a salt shaker (i very rarely do myself) you still will get a ton of sodium that is already in foods. Yeah like some said you do need some sodium but it is very unlikely that in todays world you would be getting to little sodium. Cutting down on sodium most likey wont hurt.

As far as avoiding sodium, for seasoning I recommend "Mrs Dash" line of seasonings. They got all kinds of different flavors I like for cooking and all of them have no salt in them at all and they taste really good you would never know there isnt any salt in it.

That said they are right that some people just sweat more than others and you are probably fine.

I dont know, you might just be someone who sweats a lot.. I can work my ass off to where my limbs are jiggling and my stomach burns and I wont have much more than a few drips on my forehead and back.
