Can't fault you for your optimism there. It will be such an awful crowd for such a huge fight.

 

I was hoping for a Fight announcement tbh. Im now thinking the fight will get pushed back a few months.

Arum said on his birthday, the 8th of December, that the announcement would be made next week. Then he said it would be definitely made before the year was out. Then he said it would be made during the first week of January. Since then he kept saying "next week".

Long story short: Fraudy doesn't sign because he knows Usyk would destroy him and his artificial 0 record. He is already negotiating that ridiculous gimmick against Ngannou. Imagine that, the WBC title holder goes on to do this WWE-style nonsense, while there are plenty of people who would be ready to fight him from Usyk to Joyce, Joshua, Ruiz, Hrgovic, Parker etc. No self-respecting boxing fan could honestly root for such a despicable character. The guy has been dragging the division through the mud with his lame antics and shameful stalling/derailing.

 

Well, for starters it isn't an accessible ticket. The Saudis have terrible crowds with zero energy in the building as well. A great crowd adds a ton to the fight.

 

Usyk will win.
