Who would win in a 15 round fight in their primes?

Schmeling had a dangerous right hand see the 1st Louis fight, and that's a punch that Holmes could be vulnerable to. But I like Holmes by decision where he may have a few scares along the way.

Most will probably pick Homes, and that is in no way a bad pick, but Schmeling would be very problematic for him, from a stylistic standpoint.

I'd pick Holmes via UD as well but it would be interesting to see what inroads smart Max could make into Larry's comfort zone and how well he could put the right hand over.

I would make Larry Holmes a heavy favorite. But Max Schmeling is a game and crafty opponent for almost anyone. He was a highly disciplined worker and intelligent boxer

If Renaldo Snipes could deck Holmes and hurt him...

Yet Holmes recovered in 30 seconds and went on to batter Snipes and control the rest of the round.

How about this one "if Gipsy Daniels can KO Schmeling in 1 round then......"

Honestly let's be real I can't see either man stopping eachother, though I can see Schmeling maybe dropping Holmes and having success with the right hand.

This would be a good chess match for a few rounds. I think Larry eventually comes on and takes a UD though a late stoppage isn't out of the question.

Holmes for me. His jab would just punish Max far wore then Louis's did in there first bout. Holmes utilizes the jab much more than Louis and Louis had Max's eyes practically closed. Holmes wide UD or he sneaks in a fast rt cross or uppercut and stops him

Holmes too big, too aggressive, too long.

    Holmes outboxes Max.

If we're talking Marques of Queensbury regulations I'd pick Holmes by mid rounds stoppage, probably ref saving Schmelling from further brutality as he crumpled to the floor.
Is there a standing 8 count?
    3 knock down?

I really favor Holmes in this fight. He had the superior tools and the proper style to give Schmelling nightmares.
