I think the only thing that could harm Matchroom medium term is the combination of Joshua being well beaten/injured for some time and the DAZN deal going terribly wrong.

Bellew ain't going anywhere. He's not injured, not THAT old and could make enough fighting one of the big 3 at HW to set his grandkids up. He can say all he wants he'd never fight them, it's amazing how 10 million for 45 minutes work can change someone's mind.

Interesting to read, with hindsight, how many thought Usyk wouldn’t beat Bellew let alone Joshua x2!

 

I was more impressed with how Tony Hayers reads exactly like Mitchroom

 

There were many on here who thought he was a cert to beat Bellew and they also had him as favourite in the Joshua fight.

The trained boxing eye is sometimes more shrewd than the untrained ear listening to the promoters and twitter.

 

The previous incarnation of Hayers - Infern0121 - HATED Usyk. Makes the Hayers alias sound positively reasonable by comparison.

Poor Mitchroom seems to have turned his back on the forum since Usyk vs Joshua 2 and it began to look like Usyk and Fury would get the undisputed fight with no obstacles.
