Bivol vs.Usyk....who has greater technical skill

Both have excellent fundamentals but Usyk is more unorthodox like Lomachenko but with greater intestinal fortitude.

 

Uysk has a few extra tools in his kit. Bivol is more of a specialist. What Bivol excels at which is primarily tuning opponents and maintaining ring generalship, is in a class of its own.

 

The problem is we'll never get to truly test it now against a common opponent since Canelo stopped mentioning the Usyk fight after he lost to Bivol. There's still time for Canelo to get a robbery against Bivol and put the Usyk fight back on the table, but I think the ship might have sailed there.

 

Dmitry Bivol does, a better boxer but Usyk is bigger and his skills are very good as well.

 

Bivol is one of the best light-heavies of the post-Ward era

Usyk could realistically crack the top 20 boxers of all time list

They are both very skilled. I am voting for Bivol ....couldn't help myself. did it because of what he did to the ginger bread man.

 

In terms of accomplishment, Usyk by a mile. He proved his skills against some of the best fighters in the world and he beat them all.

Bivol passes the eye test and he's beaten some really good fighters, but we need Bivol to fight Beterbiev to see how good he really is. So far, he's been outboxing everyone with relative ease. Can he do it at the highest level? If he schools Beterbiev, who's going say he isn't as technically good as Uysk, if not better?
